As part of Mothers’ Day Celebrations, I took my mum (in-law) and my sister (in-law) to the Scottish Bead Fair in Perth, on Sunday. It was a showcasing of lots of bead retailers and a day of demonstrations in the Concert Hall. The only demonstration that really interested us was by the Little Bead Shop in Edinburgh. It was on Art Clay, and how to use it. It was really informative and has given me a taste for having a go myself! But it’s expensive stuff, so I may have to wait to save my pennys.
I went on to only spend £30 (or £20 as my boyfriend thinks…) on new beads and I’m really chuffed. I find it so hard to get large statement beads without having to spend a fortune, but I had no problem on Sunday. I even got a cute ‘pumpkin’ necklace kit which I got making straight away!
