New Shrink Pendants

I hoped to get a whole lot more jewelry making done this week that what I managed, but as always life gets in the way. I did manage to get some more shrink art done, and I’m delighted with the results. I’m not really sure what I’m going to do with them yet, but it’s handy to have a stash ready to go for what ever event may come my way.

My favorite is the little red bow. It’s going to make for a very sweet necklace, maybe even one to wear to the bear fair tomorrow. I’m so excited! I may have to leave my wallet a home though…

I also made my own ‘Carrie’ necklace. I’ve been wanting one for ages and shrink plastic is the perfect thing to make it out of. However I drew the outline on in pencil and when I baked it, it made the pencil marks darker. I think it might need a second try.

I other crafting news, I was in Jenners in Edinburgh on Friday, and I got suckered into buying yet more wool. I really need to work on my self restraint. Navy and Red, I’ve gone all nautical as I do every Spring. Oh the possibilities!
