School Days

I love leather bags. Not prissy, decorative leather bags. Utilitarian, bashed about, much used leather bags. Team a neglected leather bag with a satchel style and I’m in love. I’ve been on the hunt for one for the past few years. And finally…. I was poking around in my mother-in-laws garage and I found my holy grail. My lovely new work bag. It was looking a little sad (and perhaps still does). It was water marked, with leather damage to the pockets, the leather that wasn’t wet was drying out, the metal work was getting progressively greener, and it was proving a popular home to some formidable looking spiders. But after a good vacuum out, a wipe and a rub with leather wax I love it! Add to that that it is a Bridge bag, and I’m delighted.
